Gabrielle Union & Tom Hopper Join Emma Roberts in Comedy 'Space Cadet'

Emma Roberts has some new co-stars!

On Thursday (September 22), it was announced that Gabrielle Union, Tom Hopper, and more stars will be joining the 31-year-old actress in the upcoming comedy Space Cadet.

The upcoming movie is about “a Florida party girl who turns out to be the only hope for the NASA space program, after a fluke puts her in training with other candidates. They may have better resumes, but not her smarts, heart and moxie,” according to Variety.

Other stars also recently cast in the movie include Colombian pop star Sebastián Yatra, actor and stand-up comic David Foley, and The Daily Show correspondent Desi Lydic.

Liz W. Garcia will be directing the movie from a script she wrote.

Production for Space Cadet is expected to start next week.
