Kelsey Grammer to Star in 'Frasier' Sequel Series at Paramount+

Years ago, Deadline reported that Kelsey was looking into a series that would feature Frasier Crane in a new city. The project has now been picked up to series, and the number of episodes will likely be 10 so far.

There are no further details, beyond the show following Frasier Crane’s (Grammer) next chapter in a different city. It will star new characters, with original Frasier cast members not expected to be series regulars, but potentially making guest appearances.

Frasier was introduced on Cheers before he moved to his hometown of Seattle for the spinoff series. Cheers alums occasionally made guest cameos.

Writers Chris Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Joe Cristalli (Life In Pieces) are involved as well.

Frasier ran for 11 seasons between 1993 and 2004 on NBC.
