'RHONJ's Melissa Gorga Addresses Altercation with Jennifer Aydin at BravoCon 2022

While chatting with guest celeb hairstylist Justin Anderson, Melissa claimed on her On Display podcast that fans kept going up to her during the convention to tell her that Jennifer “was basically bashing” her the whole day, saying that Melissa was “hanging on by a thread” and that she doesn’t “even know why she’s on the show.”

Melissa went on to add that Jennifer was ripping on her during every panel she spoke on, calling it “a very toxic road to go down,” adding that this kind of behavior is “unnecessary” since it creates “tension.”

Melissa then broke down what happened in the hotel lobby, where she was standing with Joe and Jennifer walked in.

“We’re standing in the lobby it’s now 1 a.m. on Saturday night with Joe…all of a sudden [Jennifer] comes in, goes to walk by me and gives me this snarky stare in my eyes,” Melissa said. “I just look at her and I go, ‘Keep moving wannabe, come on loser just keep walking, there’s the elevator.’”

Melissa insisted that she wasn’t “yelling or screaming” at Jennifer, but rather said it in her “Melissa Gorga tone.”

“She did not like that,” Melissa continued. “She starts screaming and yelling that I said that…she’s cursing, she’s saying all these things. I’m like, ‘Oh s–t. I should have known better that this was gonna happen.’ Now it’s like embarrassing.”

Melissa said that her assistant tried to get involved to end the argument, but instead things escalated, claiming that Jennifer freaked out when she was told to stop acting like “trash” and to “stop yelling.”

“She freaked out that [my assistant] said that. Joe is now seeing her freak out and said [to others in the lobby], ‘I don’t even know how this dirty b—h is on this show,’” Melissa said.

Although Joe didn’t say this directly to Jennifer, he said it loud and she was able to hear him.

“Now she tries to throw a drink on the guy I work with. She threw it all over the lobby, it got all over the security guard,” Melissa recalled. “Now it’s really a scene, it looks terrible.”

Melissa went on to say that Jennifer was then escorted up to her room and later “got very upset” over her name in the headlines regarding the altercation. Jennifer‘s assistant explained her side of the story in a now-deleted TikTok.

Melissa then slammed Jennifer for claiming she felt “attacked” and “threatened” that situation occurred without her husband Bill Aydin present.

“There are people out there who legit do feel that every day,” Melissa said. “You can’t claim to feel that way when you have two bodyguards standing next to you.”

As RHONJ fans know, Melissa and Jennifer have never seen eye to eye and often feud on the show. Jennifer is very close to Melissa‘s sister-in-law Teresa Giudice, and was even a bridesmaid in her wedding to Louie Ruelas over the summer. Melissa and Joe skipped the wedding.
