Co-Stars Emma Corrin & Jack O'Connell Address Intimate Scenes in 'Lady Chatterley's Lover'

Emma Corrin and Jack O’Connell spoke favorably about the intimate scenes that they filmed for Netflix’s Lady Chatterley’s Lover.

The 26-year-old The Crown star and their 32-year-old co-star play lovers in the film and filmed some steamy scenes together.

In a recent interview, they shared their thoughts on them.

“A journey that I think a lot of women go on is finding that power in your sexuality, and also knowing that it’s okay to want pleasure and to strive for pleasure, and for that to be a really powerful and beautiful thing and not something that you need to not acknowledge at all, or feel bad about, or shame over,” Emma told People.

“I think that it’s a really beautiful thing, and I think that the film really honors it in a powerful way,” they added.

Jack noted that the film required both actors to film nude scenes, which he said “was definitely a campaign towards some form of equality.”

“One of the best ways I think you can enact change is to demonstrate it and use the platforms or our positions to be able to do that,” he added. “Definitely made it feel like a very poignant and relevant thing to be a part of.”

Emma recently made headlines after expressing what they would like to see happen to awards shows.
