Alyssa Milano made amends after she was accused of bullying by Britney Spears.

If you missed it, the 41-year-old “My Prerogative” pop star took to Instagram earlier this week to call out a tweet the 50-year-old Charmed actress posted over a month ago. The tweet in question expressed concern about Britney‘s mental health and urged someone to check in on her.

“It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me,” Britney wrote about the tweet. “This definitely feels like a form of bullying!!!”

Alyssa didn’t respond to the accusations publicly. However, a source told TMZ that she reached out to issue a private apology to Britney.

The outlet noted that she “sent a private message” responding to Britney‘s post.

The resurfaced tweet comes after the police were called to Britney‘s home to perform a wellness check. Fans had requested the check after she deactivated her Instagram account.

Britney denounced the move and later explained exactly why she decided to take an Instagram break. Spoiler alert: her reasoning also had to do with bullying.
