Mischa Barton Claims She Was Encouraged to Sleep with Leonardo DiCaprio at Age 19 in Resurfaced Interview

A resurfaced interview with Mischa Barton is going viral.

In an interview from 2005, Mischa, now 37, claimed that she was encouraged to sleep with Leonardo DiCaprio after seeing him on a photo shoot when she was 19-years-old.

At the height of her The O.C. popularity, Mischa told UK’s Harpers & Queens that she and then-publicist Craig Schneider saw a then-30-year-old Leo on set of a photo shoot, and Craig told her, “‘For the sake of your career, go and sleep with that man,’” according to Metro.

However, Mischa said in the interview that she wasn’t interested in older men, allegedly telling Craig, “‘Isn’t Leo like 30 or something?’”

The resurfaced interview comes after Leo was rumored to be dating 19-year-old model Eden Polani. However, sources denied a romance between the two.

After four years of dating, Leo and Camilla Morrone broke up in August 2022, two months after she turned 25. He has since been linked to Gigi Hadid, 27, and actress Victoria Lamas, 23.
