'Beetlejuice 2' Release Date Revealed, Justin Theroux Joins Cast!

Beetlejuice 2 finally has a release date!

The sequel to Tim Burton‘s hit 1988 film will be hitting theaters next year, specifically, September 6, 2024. According to IMDb, the film only has two confirmed cast members so far: Michael Keaton, who is reprising his role as the title character, and Jenna Ortega, who is set to play the daughter of Winona Ryder‘s character from the first film. Deadline reports that Winona will return, and Justin Theroux just joined the cast, too.

Years ago, Tim said he had been collaborating with Michael on the project, telling Variety, “There’s only one Beetlejuice, and that’s Michael. There is a script, and I would love to work with him again. I think there is now a better chance than ever… I miss that character. There’s something that’s cathartic and amazing about it. I think it’s closer than ever.”

Fast forward to 2023 and Jenna became attached to the project. Now, with the release date attached, it looks like things are full steam ahead for the highly anticipated sequel!
