Dixie D'Amelio Taken to Hospital Via Ambulance, Source Explains What Happened

Dixie D’Amelio was taken to the hospital via ambulance on Thursday (May 18).

The 21-year-old social media star was photographed in the back of an ambulance on a gurney in West Hollywood, Calif.

She received treatment from the team on hand before getting a ride to the hospital to be checked out. A source opened up about what happened to prompt that decision.

A source told TMZ that Dixie was working when she suddenly “felt faint.”

She was reportedly suffering from dehydration, which was treated with IV fluids. There were concerns that she might have had a seizure, which does not appear to be the case.

Dixie also provided an update on social media letting fans know that she was alright and would be attending a launch for her family’s new shoe line. In the photos she shared on Snapchat, she appears to be in the hospital and is wearing a mask with some wires taped to her chest.

We are glad that she seems to be doing alright!

Last year Dixie opened up about receiving a diagnosis from her doctor.
