Britney Spears & Sam Asghari Split One Year After Wedding

Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari have split up, sources confirm to Just Jared.

The 41-year-old Glory pop superstar and the 29-year-old actor and fitness model have separated just over a year after their star-studded wedding, and nearly seven years after their relationship began on the set of Britney‘s 2016′s “Slumber Party” music video.

TMZ reports the split came after a fight involving allegations of cheating.

About a week ago, Sam allegedly confronted Britney over rumors she cheated, and while there is no confirmation regarding the report, Sam believed it and they fought. TMZ‘s sources say Sam moved out of their house and is now living in a place of his own.

“It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce,” a source told the outlet.

There’s been “deep trouble” with the couple’s marriage for months according to the report, and Sam wasn’t sleeping at the house much. Britney has allegedly gotten physical with him in fights that include frequent screaming matches.

Britney reportedly has a prenup which protects her assets. They do not share any children together. Britney has two sons from a previous marriage to ex Kevin Federline.

Divorce documents haven’t been filed yet, but TMZ is told that should “happen sooner rather than later.” There has been no comment yet on the split.
