“Lionesses, we want to sent you a huge good luck for tomorrow,” Prince William, 41, said at the start of the clip. “We’re sorry we can’t be there in person, but we’re so proud of everything you’ve achieved and the millions you’ve inspired here and around the world. So go out there tomorrow and really enjoy yourselves.”

Charlotte, 8, added: “Good luck Lionesses!”

This is an important moment for the Lionesses, as this is the first time an England men’s or women’s football team has made it to a World Cup final since 1966. The match is set for August 20 in Sydney, Australia.

William will not be attending the World Cup final and will instead watch it from the U.K. The Independent writes that his absence is related to his dedication to tackling climate change, as his trip would involve flying across the world for a short period of time.
