Sufjan Stevens dedicated his new album Javelin to his late partner, Evans Richardson, who was the Chief-of-Staff of New York City’s The Studio Museum in Harlem and tragically passed away in April at the age of 43.
It marked the first time the 48-year-old musician opened up about his personal life, and he shared an incredibly touching message about the album and his relationship.
