Melissa will once again reprise her role as Abby Stone in the upcoming second season.

“The first season we had a little bit more country mouse vibes from Abby as she was experiencing New York for the first time. I think she’s got a little bit more savviness to her this year,” the actress revealed.

John Larroquette as Dan Fielding – RETURNING!

Although he left for Louisiana to become a judge in the finale, it has since been confirmed by NBC that he’s back for Season 2.

“All I can say is that circumstances arise that we will bring Dan Fielding back to New York for a another purpose, and from there, we will build a story. Obviously, he will stay,” he said.
