'Night Court' Season 2 - 1 Star Promoted to Series Regular!

Nyambi Nyambi as Wyatt Shaw – PROMOTED TO SERIES REGULAR!

Nyambi made his first appearance on the show as a guest star in the Season 2 episode that aired on January 16. He will make his first regular appearance on the show beginning February 6, Variety reports.

Wyatt Shaw is described as “the court’s new quick-witted and sarcastic clerk. Wyatt has seen it all and, as a recently divorced, overprotective father of two young girls, he’s determined to make sure his daughters see way less than he did.”

Melissa Rauch as Abby Stone – RETURNING!

Melissa reprises her role as Abby Stone in the second season.

“The first season we had a little bit more country mouse vibes from Abby as she was experiencing New York for the first time. I think she’s got a little bit more savviness to her this year,” the actress revealed last year.

John Larroquette as Dan Fielding – RETURNING!

Although he left for Louisiana to become a judge in the finale, it has since been confirmed by NBC that he’s back for Season 2.

“All I can say is that circumstances arise that we will bring Dan Fielding back to New York for a another purpose, and from there, we will build a story. Obviously, he will stay,” he said.
