Alan Cumming stopped by Monday’s (March 26) episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and revealed that he thinks the Spice Girls will reunite.

“I think they are going to [reunite], aren’t they? I think it’s definitely going to happen,” the 53-year-old Instinct star told host Andy.

Alan also shared his craziest memory from working with the ladies on the hit 1997 movie Spice World: “Oh yes, this is a funny story,” Alan said. “I just had such a good time on that film. On my last day, they all wrote things on my tummy, like with a Sharpie.”

“And then I went swimming in London, and I was like, ‘I can’t go into the swimming pool with all this writing all over,’” Alan continued. “So I was in the shower going like this, trying to scrub the Spice Girls’ messages off of my tummy.”

That same evening, Alan stepped out to receive the LGBTQ qFLIX Award in Philadelphia.

Alan Cumming hit Seth Meyers‘ couch on Late Night on Tuesday evening (March 13) and revealed why his gay lead character in his new series Instinct is making TV history!

“It’s the first time on a network drama that there’s been a gay character in the leading role,” the 53-year-old actor told Seth. “It’s shocking but it’s great.”

Alan proceeded to expanded on the significance of that: “It’s like the fourth or fifth thing of the characteristics of this person is that he’s gay and married and a happy solid marriage.”

“And actually, what I think is really amazing is that most of the time, especially on network TV when someone is gay, when there’s a gay character it’s like, ‘they’re gay gay gay’ and it’s all about their sexuality and usually in a negative way,” Alan continued. “But the fact that this has a character whose gayness is way down the list of things that are most important about him is a positive thing and also the fact that when you do see his same-sex life it’s in a really positive way and that’s two things I don’t think are represented enough in this country.”

The procedural crime drama Instinct debuts on March 18!

Emily Mortimer keeps close to her husband Alessandro Nivola while hitting the carpet at the screening of her latest film The Party hosted by Roadside Attractions and Great Point Media with The Cinema Society at Metrograph on Monday (February 12) in New York City.

The 46-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-star Patricia Clarkson, director Sally Potter, as well as Lena Hall, Mike Doyle, Alan Cumming and Johannes Huebl, who all stepped out to show their support.

The Party: Janet (Kristin Scott Thomas) has just been appointed to a key ministerial position in the shadow cabinet – the crowning achievement of her political career. She and her husband Bill (Timothy Spall) plan to celebrate this with a few close friends. As the guests arrive at their home in London the party takes an unexpected turn when Bill suddenly makes some explosive revelations that take everyone present by surprise. Love, friendships and political convictions are soon called into question in this hilarious comedy of tragic proportions.

The 23-year-old actress hit the red carpet at the event held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Monday (February 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

She paired her dress with strappy black heels and dazzling drop earrings.

Saoirse was joined by Helen Mirren, who looked elegant in a dark blue, long-sleeve dress with lighter blue and silver details and matching earrings.

Alan Cumming is making network TV history!

The 52-year-old actor is set to star in the procedural crime drama Instinct as an openly gay former CIA operative who has since built a different life as a gifted professor and writer, but gets pulled back into his old life when the NYPD needs his help to stop a serial killer.

“I applaud everyone at CBS for having the courage to put that on, in the climate that might not be the best time to do it,” Alan expressed (via Deadline) while speaking onstage during the CBS/Showtime portion of the 2018 Winter TCA Press Tour at The Langham Huntington on Saturday (January 6) in Pasadena, Calif.

“The President is actively condoning, by his silence, violence and persecution against the LGBT community,” Alan added. “I think it’s the perfect time and needs to be done. [It's] all that more important we should have a character with a healthy same-sex marriage.”

Alan was joined at the panel by executive producer Michael Rauch, and his co-stars Sharon Leal, Bojana Novakovic and Naveen Andrews.

Darren Criss, Lea Michele and more stars lit up the stage at the 2017 Elsie Fest on Sunday (October 8)!

The musical-oriented New York City festival, which features stars and songs of stage and screen, included performers like Alan Cumming, Jeremy Jordan, Ingrid Michaelson, Norm Lewis, Auli’i Cravalho and Keala Settle.

​Ryan Murphy, Alex Newell, Christine Taylor and Jenna Ushkowitz all attended the festival as well.

“All the feels tonight ❤ Thank you to everyone who came out for Elsie Fest!! So happy you were there to introduce me tonight @mrrpmurphy I love you so much and thank you @darrencriss for including me in this amazing evening you are the most amazing friend and family I could ask for,” Lea wrote on Instagram.

The festival was co-created by Darren, Ricky Rollins and Jordan Roth in 2015.

Emma Stone and her Battle of the Sexes cast premiered their upcoming movie this weekend!

The 28-year-old actress walked the red carpet with tennis star Billie Jean King on Saturday (September 16) in Westwood, Calif. Emma plays Billie in the film about her infamous tennis match against Bobby Riggs in 1973.
