Taylor Swift Does Not Sing on Beyonce's Song 'Bodyguard,' Despite Fan Speculation

Nope, that’s not Taylor Swift singing background vocals on Beyonce‘s new album Cowboy Carter.

Fans have been speculating that Taylor provided the background vocals on the song “Bodyguard,” featured on Bey‘s eighth studio album. It was believed that Taylor could be the person singing, “Ooh-ee-ooh, ah, Ooh-ee-ooh” at the beginning of the song.

Someone edited the Genius website to make it appear that Taylor sang backup for Beyonce on the song, but official credits for the album have not yet been announced.

Beyonce Talks 'Cowboy Carter' Album in Press Release, New Details & Inspiration Revealed

Beyonce‘s team has dropped an official press release for the Cowboy Carter album featuring plenty of new quotes from the entertainer herself.

The press release reveals the inspiration behind the album and how each “song is its own version of a reimagined Western film.” Some of the films that lent inspiration include The Hateful Eight, Space Cowboys, The Harder They Fall, and the recent Oscar-nominated movie Killers of the Flower Moon.

Beyonce Addresses Grammys Snub for Album of the Year on New 'Cowboy Carter' Song

Beyonce has never won a Grammy for Album of the Year and she’s addressing the constant snub in a new song on Cowboy Carter.

The 42-year-old singer just dropped her eighth solo studio album and despite being nominated for Album of the Year for four of the previous seven albums, she still hasn’t won in the category.
