Miranda Lambert has a new music video out!

The 36-year-old country singer released the video for her song “Settling Down” – and her husband Brendan Mcloughlin appears in it.

In one scene, Brendan goes shirtless baring his ripped abs while cooking with Miranda in their kitchen.

“I’ve never had a video in 18 years in the business with a love interest, and so it’s kinda funny that my husband’s my first one. I’m like, ‘you’re cute, you’re here, and you’re free,’” Miranda shared in an interview on New York’s Country 94.7 about the video.

“It was fun,” Miranda added. “[Brendan] did such a great job… and our little dog is in it, and our ponies. It’s at my magical-happy place an hour away from Nashville.”

Brendan McLoughlin is leaving the force.

Miranda Lambert‘s police officer husband has decided to turn in his badge after he took a leave of absence from the force, People is reporting.

“His current duty status is retired,” an NYPD DCPI spokesperson shared in a statement about Brendan‘s duty.

Since taking a leave of absence from the NYPD, Brendan joined Miranda on her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars tour.

He’s also been spotted helping security during her Wildcard tour meet and greets.

The 35-year-old country star took to her Instagram to share a video of Brendan doing some shirtless cooking in their kitchen.

“Happy 2020 y’all! This is our last Friday night off for a bit! Starting rehearsals for the #Wildcard tour…House husband shirtless promo volume 4. #sweetchildofmine #nocougarjokesplease😂,” Miranda wrote.

She added, “P.S. who looks like this after holidays in Texas? We ate a $hit ton of Tex Mex. WTH?”

Miranda‘s Wildcard Tour kicks off on January 16th.

Miranda Lambert, Pink, and Sheryl Crow team up at the 2019 CMA Awards!

The singers, ages 36, 40, and 57, respectively, stepped out for the event held at the Music City Center on Wednesday (November 13) in Nashville, Tenn.

Miranda hit the red carpet with her husband Brendan Mcloughlin, and Pink with her husband Carey Hart and their kids Jameson and Willow.

Miranda is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, and she’ll perform “It All Comes Out in the Wash.” Pink and Sheryl will also perform.

They were joined by nominees Little Big Town and Thomas Rhett (with his family); performer Martina McBride; and presenters Kristin Chenoweth (with her musician boyfriend Josh Bryant), Jim Gaffigan, and Hannah Brown.

Also in attendance were singers RaeLynn, Colbie Caillat, Brandi Carlile, Backstreet Boys‘ AJ McLean, and more.

Miranda Lambert keeps close to her husband Brendan McLoughlin while making her way inside the Ed Sullivan Theater on Wednesday night (October 30) in New York City.

The 35-year-old country music superstar served as the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and hit the stage for a performance of her song “It All Comes Out In The Wash,” off her latest album Wildcard.

“It All Comes Out in the Wash” is the Top 25 lead single from Miranda‘s Wildcard album, which will finally be out tomorrow (November 1).

The 35-year-old country star says she has her Pistol Annies bandmates to thank for the introduction!

“I met my husband doing press for the Pistol Annies record, this time last year. Our record came out the day after Halloween, and we did Good Morning America. My husband was doing security there for the show,” Miranda told the NY Times.

She continued, “My girlfriends, the Annies, saw him and knew I might be ready to hang out with someone. They invited him to our show behind my back. They plucked him for me.”

Just a few months later, Miranda and Brendan tied the knot!

Miranda Lambert happily hits the carpet alongside her husband Brendan McLoughlin while attending the 2019 ACM Honors Ceremony at the Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday night (August 21) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 35-year-old country singer was in attendance to receive The Gene Weed Milestone Award, which was created to acknowledge the person in country music who had an unprecedented and outstanding year of achievements.

Keith Urban presented Lambert with the award, and in his glowing introductory speech, he told the crowd: “She did what I used to do: whoever I was opening for, I used to sit in front of the stage and watch every show and I’d be taking mental notes,” he said. “She was at the front of my show every night we played. And I remember thinking, ’I know that person really well.’”

Martina McBride and Maddie & Tae were also in attendance to show their support.

“I am so humbled. I’m standing on this Ryman stage in front of one of my heroes,” Miranda expressed during her speech (via CMT). “I mostly just want to thank Nashville, and the people who move here because they loved country music. I couldn’t believe that we’d get to live this amazing life and follow our dreams and just be part of this awesome family. Some days it feels like I’ve been doing it for two days, and some days it feels like 200 years. And I’ll never get over it.”

Miranda Lambert recently dropped her new song “Bluebird,” which will be featured on her upcoming seventh studio album Wildcard.
