Lady Antebellum will unfortunately not be hitting the road for their Ocean 2020 tour this year.

Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley made the difficult decision to cancel their upcoming tour, with supporting acts Maddie and Tae and Jake Owen, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Out of respect and love for our fans, crews and families, we’ve made the very difficult decision to not move forward with the #Ocean2020Tour this summer with @JakeOwenOfficial and @MaddieAndTae,” the band revealed on their social media this morning. “This decision breaks our hearts but the health and well-being of those we love is our first priority.”

Hillary, Dave and Charles continued, “We dream about the day we can step back on stage, see all your faces and hear all of your voices singing back to us. Y’all are the reason we do what we do and we find peace knowing that it will be even more special once we get through this together – and we will.”

“While we don’t have future plans to share just yet, we are working with our team around the clock to figure out when and how we can safely get on the road to see all of you.”

Those who had purchased tickets for Lady Antebellum‘s Ocean tour will be emailed about refund options.

Lady Antebellum isn’t the only musical group to have cancelled their tours. This other major country band did, too.

This is the eighth studio album for the country music group and they’ll be promoting it with a Today Show concert series performance on Friday morning (November 15) in New York City.

The album features the title track “Ocean,” the lead single “What If I Never Get Over You,” and more. There’s also a collaboration with one of the other biggest groups in country music – Little Big Town!

Lady Antebellum make their arrival at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night (April 7) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The group – Dave Haywood, Hillary Scott, and Charles Kelley – will be presenting at the show, and they are also nominated for Group of the Year.

They are up against Lanco, Little Big Town, Midland, and Old Dominion. Good luck to all the nominees!

They day before, Hillary and Dave took a photo in front of a bus with their faces on it.

The three stars of Lady Antebellum – Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood, and Hillary Scott – perform during the launch of their Our Kind of Vegas residency on Friday (February 8) at The Pearl Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

The country music trio currently has 15 shows scheduled for their residency.

Before the show debuted, the group tweeted, “#OurKindOfVegas kicks off tomorrow! This show has been a dream of ours for many years, so we went all out! We partnered with our trusted friends at @_Fireplay and worked together to bring our creative dreams to life…and they sure set the visual bar high! 👏”

Lady Antebellum enjoy their night out at the 2018 CMA Awards!

The Nashville-based music group – composed of Dave Haywood, Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley – joined forces at the event held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tenn.

Dave was joined by wife Kelli Cashiola, Hillary by husband Chris Tyrrell, and Charles by wife Cassie McConnell.

Lady A was up for Vocal Group of the Year, but they lost to Old Dominion. They also presented Song of the Year to Mike Henderson and Chris Stapleton for “Broken Halos.”

“I’m so unbelievably proud for [Kelsea Ballerini] and everything that’s going on … her poise, and her record,” Hillary told ABC News Radio. “And obviously she’s like a baby sister to me, so I’m rooting for her for sure!”

“Seeing these new artists, I think – ’cause this is what these shows are, to me, to break new artists, and to show people, ‘This is the new crop,’” Charles added. “And also, you’re always excited to see Keith Urban and our buddy Luke [Bryan] and see what they do … There’s so many [things] to look forward to!”

Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris step out in style to attend the 2018 CMT Artists of The Year Awards held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Wednesday (October 17) in Nashville, Tenn.

The three ladies were honorees at the event alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman, Loretta Lynn and Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott.

Also in attendance was Tori Kelly, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Elle King, Sheryl Crow, Hillary‘s bandmates Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, JoJo Fletcher and her hubby Jordan Rodgers, Martina McBride, Danielle Bradbery, Smokey Robinson, Sissy Spacek and her daughter Schuyler Fisk, and Maren‘s partner Ryan Hurd.

“We need more things like this,” pregnant Carrie began her acceptance speech. “You are not here because you are women, you are here because you’re dang good. It is an honor to get to share tonight with you.”
