Congratulations are in order for Courtney Stodden and her husband Doug Hutchison – they are expecting their first child together.
The 21-year-old reality star was the center of controversy when she married Doug at just 16. He is 34 years her senior.
“It’s a bittersweet time for me right now. I’m dealing with a lot of stress and emotions surrounding life and its ups and downs,” Courtney told Us Weekly to confirm that she is with child. “Doug and I weren’t planning on going public with this so soon. I’m only four weeks along in my pregnancy. But some things are out of your control.”
Courtney and Doug‘s anniversary is on May 20. They tied the knot back in 2011 and later appeared on Couples Therapy in 2012. The couple ended up splitting in November 2013, but they got back together in August 2014.
