Nick Viall, former Bachelor and contestant on The Bachelorette, just made a bold prediction based on what Wells Adams had previously said on his podcast.

On Nick‘s “Viall Files” podcast, Wells said a Bachelor in Paradise contestant might be getting a “Bachelor” edit, meaning the franchise is setting up one of the contestants to be a fan favorite choice for The Bachelor next season.

Despite breaking up back in January, Joe Amabile and Kendall Long are still very close.

The Bachelor in Paradise couple called it quits after two years together while coming to the realization that their long distance relationship was too much for the moment.

However, Joe opened up to US Weekly about the current state of their relationship and it turns out that he and Kendall are still in contact.

“We remained close friends and we probably always will, I think,” he shared. “She’s from L.A. and I’m from Chicago, so it just became too big of a hurdle at this time in our lives, but we remain close. We still talk almost every day.”

Joe also commented on that maybe reunion fans spotted earlier this month, where they were seen “sharing a meal” of sushi on their Instagram Stories.

“I don’t know what people were talking about. I guess we’ll just leave that up to what people think,” he shared, playing coy about it. “I can’t say I was in L.A., can’t say that I wasn’t. That’s all I can tell you. … L.A.’s a great city so we’ll see. But right now at this time in my life, being here [in Chicago] definitely makes the most sense.”

Bachelor in Paradise couple Joe Amabile and Kendall Long have called it quits after they started dating during season five.

“We have decided mutually to go our separate ways. Joe has made the decision to move back to Chicago while Kendall will be remaining in her hometown of Los Angeles,” Kendall, 27, and Joe, 33, said in a statement to Bachelor Nation. “Our family and friends have always been an extremely important element to who we are as people. We can’t imagine continuing our lives without them closer, especially when thinking of starting a family of our own one day. We both respect each others’ decision and still have a great deal of love for each other. We appreciate all the love and support everyone has given us throughout our relationship.”

It’s unclear when the split happened, but Joe posted a photo of them together earlier this month.

The 40-year-old The Vampire Diaries alum attended The Gentle Barn’s 20th Anniversary Under the Stars Party on Saturday (September 28) in Santa Clarita, Calif.

The Gentle Barn is a national non-profit animal sanctuary, which works to rescue animals from abuse and neglect and inspire hope and healing in children facing similar circumstances.

The Gentle Barn founders Ellie Laks and Jay Weiner, staff, volunteers and supporters came to The Gentle Barn’s flagship sanctuary in Santa Clarita for an evening to recognize individuals who have embraced the organization’s purpose, pay tribute to the animal ambassadors, and honor the organization’s mission to create a kinder, more gentler world for all.

Whitney Cummings hosted the event, and was joined by former MLB All-Star Chase Utley as presenters.

Other guests included model Katie Cleary, Bachelor in Paradise stars Kendall Long and Joe Amabile, harpist Lara Somogyi, pro bodybuilder Nimai Delgado, comedian Rebecca Corry, Olympic surfer Tia Blanco.

The 32-year-old The Bachelorette contestant and his pro partner Jenna Johnson were joined by a bunch of hot guys for their “I’m Too Sexy for My Shirt” dance.

Jenna‘s fiance and fellow pro Val Chmerkovskiy and Joe‘s fellow Bachelor Nation guys Wells Adams, Nick Viall, Eric Bigger, and Dean Unglert all participated in the dance.

All of the guys ripped off their shirts!

The 31-year-old reality star, who was known as “Grocery Store Joe” on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, performed a Foxtrot to the song “New York State of Mind.”

Joe and Jenna earned a score of 17 out of 30 points, which is an improvement on the 14 points they earned during week one.

Grocery Store Joe is making his return on Bachelor In Paradise!

The 31-year-old Bachelorette contestant is getting a second chance at love after being sent home after the first episode of Becca Kufrin‘s season.

Joe quickly became a fan favorite despite being eliminated early, so it only made sense for him to head to Paradise!

“I’m back! I was [ready to find love then] and I am now because honestly after the first episode, I never thought I’d have a girlfriend again,” Joe says in a preview for the first episode.
