Longtime friends Julianne Hough and Ben Barnes are enjoying some quality time together!

The 34-year-old actress and dancer and the 40-year-old Shadow and Bone actor were seen taking a stroll through Washington Square Park on Tuesday afternoon (August 16) in New York City.

Julianne had the final performance of her play POTUS two days earlier, wrapping up a successful debut on Broadway.

You might remember that Julianne and Ben were spotted together in April 2020 while her then-husband Brooks Laich was quarantining separately from her. After her divorce was revealed, they were then seen together again for an ice cream date in January 2021.

Sources have said in the past that they’ve known each other for years and likely are just friends.

Darren Criss and Julianne Hough hosted the first hour of the 2022 Tony Awards this past weekend and they celebrated their big night together with a star-studded after party.

The two actors, who are both starring on Broadway right now, teamed up with The House of Suntory for their after party on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

Darren‘s American Buffalo co-star Laurence Fishburne and Julianne‘s POTUS co-stars Rachel Dratch, Julie White, and Lea DeLaria were among the guests at the event.

Also in attendance at the party were Darren‘s Glee co-star Lea Michele and many of her Spring Awakening cast members following their Tonys performance, as well as Jesse Williams, Zach Braff, Sarah Paulson, Billy Porter, and Andrew Garfield.

The part was presented by Armanino. Hungry guests were treated to Shake Shack upon arrival and served Japanese cocktails including Toki Highballs and Roku Gin Cherry Blossom Martinis.

The 33-year-old POTUS actress joined Darren Criss on the red carpet at the event, where the two will be co-hosting the Part One of the show ahead of the award ceremony.

The pre-show event kicks off at 7 p.m. on Paramount+.

“So a dancer and a musician walk into a rehearsal hall…” Darren teased on his Twitter. “See what we made tonight at 7pm ET / 4pm PT on @paramountplus.”

FYI: Julianne wore a black and silver off-the-shoulder crepe gown with embroidered neckline from Pamella Roland.

The 2022 Tony Awards, hosted by Ariana DeBose, will air live from Radio City Music Hall at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

The 33-year-old actress joined all her costars – Vanessa Williams, Gisela Chipe, Lisa Helmi Johanson, Julie White, Rachel Dratch, Lea DeLaria, Lilli Cooper, Suzy Nakamura, Anita Abdinezhad, and Jennifer Fouche, as well as director Susan Stroman at the party following the premiere of the new Broadway play.

Celeb guests at the event included Lea Michele, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Rachel Brosnahan and her husband, Jason Ralph, Amy Poehler and Ana Gasteyer.

Teri Hatcher was also in attendance, supporting her former Desperate Housewives co-star Vanessa.

On Tuesday (April 19), the 33-year-old dancer, singer, and actress revealed that she has to miss several performances of her new Broadway show POTUS after receiving positive test results.
