Joaquin Phoenix is showing his support for animals.

The 38-year-old Joker actor attended thhe Mercy For Animals 20th Anniversary Gala at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (September 14) in Los Angeles.

The event was hosted by Kat Graham.

Paul Wesley and wife Ines de Ramon, Kat Von D, Moby, Rob Zombie, Daisy Fuentes, Richard Marx, Kevin Smith, Charo, Diane Warren, Sarah Jeffery, Alison Pill, Daniella Monet and Nev Schulman were also in attendance.

Kat Von D received the Mercy For Animals “Hope Award” presented by Rob Zombie, while Marco Borges received the Mercy For Animals “Global Impact Award” presented by Daisy Fuentes.

Rena Roseman received the Mercy For Animals “Legacy Award” presented by Alison Pill and Joshua Leonard, and Lindsay Oliver received Mercy For Animals “Hidden Hero Award” presented by Kevin Smith and Harley Quinn Smith.

Kevin Smith is bringing He-Man to Netflix!

The 49-year-old actor and director announced at the 2019 Power-Con on Sunday (August 18) his new Netflix anime series Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which will be an original story based on the 1980′s Mattel’s He-Man toy franchise.

“I’m Eternia-ly grateful to Mattel TV and Netflix for entrusting me with not only the secrets of Grayskull, but also their entire Universe,” Kevin said via Deadline. “In Revelation, we pick up right where the classic era left off to tell an epic tale of what may be the final battle between He-Man and Skeletor! Brought to life with the most metal character designs Powerhouse Animation can contain in the frame, this is the Masters of the Universe story you always wanted to see as a kid!”

As of right now, Masters of the Universe: Revelation doesn’t have a premiere date.

Margaret Qualley showed her style while stepping out for the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere!

The 24-year-old actress hit the red carpet at the event on Monday evening (July 22) in Hollywood, Calif.

She was also joined by her cast mates Maya Hawke, Sydney Sweeney, Harley Quinn Smith, Madisen Beaty, Julia Butters and Mikey Madison.

Also in attendance were Harley Quinn‘s parents Kevin Smith and Jennifer Schwalbach Smith.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore.

The film hits theaters on July 26th.

Cara Delevingne joins co-star Orlando Bloom on the #IMDboat at the 2019 Comic-Con on Saturday afternoon (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.

The actors were joined by fellow cast mates David Gyasi and Tamzin Merchant as they chatted about their upcoming Amazon Prime series Carnival Row with host Kevin Smith.

During a recent interview, Cara confirmed that her character is pansexual.

“I’m a pansexual faerie,” Cara shared with Variety. “All faeries generally are. They don’t see gender. It’s all about who they are and their hearts. A lot of the things that weren’t written in the script, we made them so. Obviously, I didn’t say, ‘I want to be a pansexual faerie,’ but it made sense that all faeries kind of just love who they love.”

The day before, Cara Delevingne and Orlando Bloom debuted a few new clips of their show during their panel discussion at Comic-Con.

Carnival Row premieres on Amazon Prime on August 30.

Jay & Silent Bob are back – and they’re bringing a ton of stars along with them, including Ben Affleck!

The trailer for Jay & Silent Bob Reboot was released on Thursday (July 18).

Jason Mews and Kevin Smith reprise their roles in the upcoming film, which features cameos from stars of Kevin’s older films, including Jason Lee and Jason Biggs.

In the movie, the characters fight to stop a remake of the 2001 movie Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back

Here’s a plot summary: when Jay and Silent Bob discover that Hollywood is rebooting an old movie based on them, the clueless duo embark on another cross-country mission to stop it all over again!

The movie hits theaters on October 15.

Ashley Tisdale is calling out Kevin Smith.

The 33-year-old High School Musical alum called out the 48-year-old Clerks director on Twitter on Saturday (June 8).

“Thanks @ThatKevinSmith for scratching my mirror on my car and not stopping. Classy move neighbor!” she wrote on the social media platform.

“Apologies – I drive like Cruella de Vil in the Hills! However, I *did* do a courtesy stop. Then when you pulled away first, I was like ‘That’s soooo Sharpay…’,” he wrote back.

“So the incredibly sweet @ashleytisdale stopped by my house and tried to apologize. I assured her that *I’m* the one who was driving like a Wildcat. Also told her I’d sent my kid our Tweets. HQ’s response: ‘We saw Ashley in HighSchoolMusical Live!’ Ashley was like “Oh, maaan…” he wrote in another post.
