Queen Camilla might have formally ascended the throne at King Charles‘ coronation on Saturday (May 6). However, Katy Perry is emerging as a different sort of queen after attending the event.

She’s the undeniable Meme Queen of the coronation.

If you missed it, the 38-year-old “Dark Horse” icon attended the historic day, wearing an extra-large pink hat that perfectly matched her outfit.

She sparked her first meme of the day after cameras captured footage of her looking lost and confused while hunting for her seat. Katy, ever a good sport, had a fun response to being the butt of the joke.

Two more Katy-centric memes have taken off online since the conclusion of the coronation. One of them even involves a comparison to fellow pop titan Adele.

Meghan Markle didn’t attend King Charles‘ coronation on Saturday (May 6)… Or did she?

The 41-year-old Duchess of Sussex opted out of traveling to the United Kingdom to attend her father-in-law’s big day. Instead, she stayed home in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Her husband Prince Harry made a quick trip to watch his father formally ascend the throne alongside his stepmother Queen Camilla before rushing back home to celebrate his son’s 4th birthday.

However, there was a wild rumor online suggesting that Meghan had attended the event in disguise.

King Charles officially ascended the throne on Saturday (May 6), and it was also a big day for Queen Camilla.

Following a request from the late Queen Elizabeth that her son’s wife be given the title Queen Consort, a recent report suggested that she would simply be going by Queen.

According to several experts, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Prince Harry all have thoughts about the development.

The monarchs were officially crowned the King and Queen of England on Saturday (May 6) at Westminster Abbey in London, England.

King Charles had the support of his children, grandchildren, and siblings during his big day.
