Rita Moreno is about to be your favorite star of the holiday season Lifetime.
The 90-year-old actress will lead an all-star cast in Santa Bootcamp, airing TONIGHT, November 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
“The idea of doing a Christmas movie really delighted me,” Rita shared about the project in a new interview. “I’ve never done one, and I felt very left out all these years. I got the invitation, read the script and said, ‘Absolutely, I’m in.’ It was very easy.”

The Talk is the leading talk show on CBS, and has been going strong since its debut over a decade ago in 2010.
The show was originally developed by Sara Gilbert, and has since gone on to feature several co-hosts as they discuss a range of topics, from pop culture events to their personal lives.
The series is now in its 12th season, and some very famous faces have appeared as co-hosts along the way. Several of them also happen to be top earners.

The original Broadway cast of Hairspray hit the red carpet together at the 2020 Tony Awards!
Marissa Jaret Winokur and Matthew Morrison reunited to open the show on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.
They were joined by former co-stars Kerry Butler, Chester Gregory, and Darlene Love to kick off the night with a performance of “You Can’t Stop the Beat.”
Back in 2003, Hairspray won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Actress for Marissa. The musical ran until 2009 and was turned into a successful feature film. NBC even did a live production a few years ago!
Paramount+ will stream the two-hour Tony Awards ceremony starting at 7pm ET and CBS will then air a two-hour primetime special, The Tony Awards Present: Broadway’s Back!, starting at 9pm ET. The primetime special will include performances from beloved classics and the three Best Musical nominees.

Ariana Grande made a special appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night (June 15)!
The 27-year-old songstress, who wore Versace, joined the late night host for a new musical parody celebrating the end of pandemic lockdown restrictions.
The duo performed “No Lockdowns Anymore” to the tune of “Good Morning, Baltimore” from the musical Hairspray, and there was even a cameo from Tracy Turnblad herself, Tony award winner Marissa Jaret Winokur!

Marissa Jaret Winokur is looking and feeling incredible!
The 47-year-old actress, who won a Tony award for her performance of Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray on Broadway, took to Instagram on Monday (September 14) to reveal that she’s lost almost 50lbs in the last six months.

Marissa said she started working on getting healthy after she “checked off all the boxes” for being high risk for COVID-19.
“If you have been following my story’s you know how hard I have been working out with Keith Anthony to get healthy. Truth Covid scares me,” Marissa started. “I checked off all the boxes, I am HIGH RISK! So I started working out at home with Keith via zoom classes and eating healthy to have a fighting chance.”
“In all honestly I also needed something to focus on have a goal. 6 months later I have lost almost 50 pounds,” Marissa continued. “We have been here before. I was scared to post photos, it’s really one day at a time for me when it comes to food. But I thought, Covid isn’t over we are all sitting ducks maybe I could inspire someone ANYONE to chose to fight!”
If you didn’t know, Marissa is also a cervical cancer survivor.
“Forget how amazing this dress looks 🥰 I haven’t had asthma in months. My anxiety is at an all time high, because you know the country is such a mess . The hour or two a day I focus on working out my sadness turns to productive energy, so that I don’t watch the news and bury my head, but try to help our situation,” Marissa wrote. “Now we do not know ( besides the obvious) who is more susceptible to Covid losing weight will not stop the spread !! But getting my self as strong as possible to fight it at least makes me FEEL like I am doing something. It makes me FEEL like if I can kick cancers ass I can do this too.”
Marissa concluded her post by thanking fans for always being there to support her, while also telling them to get out there and vote.
“Thank you for always being part of my YO-YO journey. I can only say Today I feel strong. Today I feel like I can do anything. Today I don’t bury my head, I will workout and email our senators wear a mask and make sure Family and friends VOTE!!” Marissa concluded. “We have work to do on ourselves to save this nation , we need equality. We will need to FIGHT for EQUALITY. Do what you have to do personally to get in the fight . Ask for help. The Thespians Go Hollywood gala is put on by the Educational Theatre Foundation to support financial access and equity in school theater education programs.
Christina, Matthew and more helped pay tribute to Tony legend Bernadette Peters who was being honored with the Craig Zadan Theatre for Life Award. The award is named after the late producer Zadan, who received the award posthumously last year along with producing partner Neil Meron during an emotional event in North Hollywood that saw a slew of A-listers perform on the same stage as high school students.
