The cast of Everything Everywhere All at Once won big at the SAG Awards and 94-year-old actor James Hong totally stole the show with an amazing moment during the final speech of the night.
The legendary actor gave a touching and funny speech while accepting Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night (February 26) at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
James was joined on stage by co-stars Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Stephanie Hsu, Harry Shum Jr., and Jenny Slate.
Michelle gave the podium to James at the end of the cast’s speech and said, “He’s been acting since there were only 49 states, and he just turned 94. It’s been 69 years in the making to get him to this stage. Our patriarch, our friend, our Gong-Gong, James Hong!”
