Ryan Rottman will appear in the new season of 90210, JustJared.com can confirm.

The 27-year-old former Gigantic star will play Shane, “a smart, handsome gay 20-something who is confident in his identity and is committed to fighting for marriage equality,” according to EW.

Ryan‘s Straight But Not Narrow video was also recently revealed.

“There’s a million reasons why you shouldn’t be friends with someone – except for them being gay,” he says. “Maybe straight, maybe gay, maybe in between, just don’t be narrow minded.”

Zac Efron goes shopping at Urban Outfitters on Tuesday (July 5) in Studio City, Calif.

The 23-year-old actor was joined for the afternoon by a group of friends, including close pal Ryan Rottman and Rumer Willis, who sipped a smoothie.

Over the weekend, Zac spent some time in Malibu, first celebrating his High School Musical co-star Ashley Tisdale‘s 26th birthday at the beach, where he gave her a piggyback ride.

Zac then hit a Fourth of July bash two days later.

Glee hunk Chord Overstreet is joined by his pals — The Gates star James Preston and Make It or Break It star Josie Loren –during the 2nd Annual Los Angeles Haunted Hayride at Griffith Park on Sunday (October 10).

The trio was accompanied by former Smallville actor Michael Rosenbaum, Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland, Emmy Rossum, Gigantic‘s Ryan Rottman, producer/director Adam Shankman, Jonathan Bennett, and Big Time Rush‘s Stephen Kramer Glickman.

The event supported the Save Japan Dolphins Campaign, which fights to stop the killing of dolphins in Japan.

Chord, who is linked to Rumer Willis, is definitely a movie buff and likes to kick back with his Netflix Instant Queue. Glee‘s Mark Salling and Gigantic‘s Ryan Rottman sandwich in British actress Kelly Brook at “An Evening Affair” held at a private residence on Saturday (October 9) in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old actor and singer was just one of many celebs to step out at the Night Vision-sponsored event – others pictured inside include Rashida Jones, Rose McGowan, Shenae Grimes and Zachary Levi!

At the fun party, guests sipped on Svedka cocktails and were treated to Camacho cigars.
