Jim Parsons & Ben Aldridge Suit Up for 'Spoiler Alert' Premiere in NYC

The stars of Spoiler Alert are stepping out for the premiere of their new movie.

Jim Parsons and Ben Aldridge posed together on the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie on Tuesday (November 29) at the Jack H. Skirball Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.

Fellow cast members Sally Field, Bill Irwin, Jeffery Self, and Nikki M. James also hit the red carpet along with director Michael Showalter.

Jim‘s husband Todd Spiewak also attended the premiere along with Michael Ausiello, who wrote the memoir Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies, which the movie is based on.

The movie is inspired by the true story of four best friends living life to the fullest when they take a wild trip to the 2017 Super Bowl LI to see their hero Tom Brady play.

Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field play the four friends while Tom stars in the movie as himself. He also produced the movie!

Billy Porter leads a star-studded supporting cast that includes Rob Corddry, Alex Moffat, Guy Fieri, Harry Hamlin, Bob Balaban, Glynn Turman, Sara Gilbert, Jimmy O. Yang, Ron Funches, Matt Lauria, and Guy Fieri as himself.

John C. Reilly, Jason Clarke, & Star-Studded 'Winning Time' Cast Attend L.A. Premiere Together!

The premiere of HBO’s new series Winning Time featured so many members of the star-studded cast!

The show’s two main actors John C. Reilly and Jason Clarke led the pack at the premiere event on Wednesday night (March 2) at The Ace Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

Cast members Jason Segel, Adrien Brody, Sally Field, Michael Chiklis, Quincy Isaiah, Solomon Hughes, DeVaughn Nixon, Hadley Robinson, Molly Gordon, Sarah Ramos, Rob Morgan, Spencer Garrett, Delante Desouze, Newton Mayenge, Tamera Tomakili, Sean Patrick Small, Brett Cullen, Jimel Atkins, Andy Hirsch, Austin Aaron, Jon Young, Edwin Hodge, Terence Davis, Michael AG Scott, Max E. Williams, and Mariama Diallo were in attendance as well.

The event included a screening of the first episode and an after-party on a custom-made basketball court evocative of the iconic Forum, where the Lakers made history in the 1980s.

Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, which is executive produced by Adam McKay, is a fast-break series about the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, one of sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties — a team that defined an era, both on and off the court.

The new series premieres on HBO on Sunday, March 6.

Sally Field To Play John C. Reilly's Mom in LA Lakers HBO Series, Her First Big Role Since 2017

Sally Field is headed to television in HBO’s LA Lakers series, Variety reports.

The 74-year-old actress has joined Adrien Brody, John C. Reilly and Michael Chiklis in the still untitled series which centers on the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers.

Sally is set to star as Jessie Buss, mother of Lakers owner Jerry Buss (Reilly).

As a young single mother, Jessie instilled in her son a love of math, money, and good times. Decades later, her son is a successful businessman – but he turns to her as a trusted advisor and bookkeeper.

Michael will play Boston Celtics coach Red Auerbach and Adrien is Pat Riley.

Most recently, Sally was seen in 2015′s Hello, My Name is Doris and 2017′s Little Evil. She’s best known for her roles in Forrest Gump, Norma Rae and Lincoln.

'Steel Magnolias' Is Trending on Twitter - Find Out Why!

Steel Magnolias is having a moment on social media.

The 1989 film, which stars Shirley MacLaine, Daryl Hannah, Sally Field, Dolly Parton and Julia Roberts, shot to the top of the Trending Topics due to a viral tweet on Sunday (January 24).

“What movie automatically makes you cry no matter how many times you’ve seen it? You can do more than 1,” the Twitter prompt from one user reads, which resulted in hundreds of responses. And one of the most common responses? Steel Magnolias!

The movie follows a young beautician who arrives in a small Louisiana town and finds work at the local salon, where a small group of women share a close bond of friendship, and welcome her into the fold.

Steel Magnolias (ugly cry every single time),” one popular response reads.

“BAY BAY!! Steel Magnolias will hit you in the feels every time. I also have learned that I’m more like Ouisa as I mature and I’m OK with that,” said another.

“Woke up my favorite white movie trending, Steel Magnolias. ‘Don’t talk about me like I’m not here!’ ‘Open your eyes, Shelby. Open, open your eyes,’” added another.

One of the stars of the movie sadly passed away in December.
