Dancing with the Stars brothers Val and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are already teaching Maks‘ son to follow in their footsteps!

The pair shared a fun video of them teaching his son with Peta Murgatroyd, six-month-old Shai, some dance moves.

“D N A Something about some fruit and some trees…. @iamvalc with first instructions and I just noticed that Shai doesn’t have a shirt on…..damn it…..LMAO…..I’m literally laughing as I’m typing this….. 🤦🏻‍♂️,” Maks captioned the video on his Instagram.

Dancing With the Stars couple Maksim Chmerkovksiy and Peta Murgatroyd have debuted the first photo of their newborn son Shai!

The dancing pros were featured on this morning’s episode of Good Morning America and they followed up the appearance by posting the first official to Peta‘s Fam & Glam website.

“This past month and a half we’ve tried to keep Shai to ourselves, like our little secret that only we get to enjoy – but babies aren’t secrets and keeping him hidden away forever isn’t realistic of healthy,” Peta writes.

She added later on, “We’re finally ready to share Shai with the world.”

The couple welcomed a baby boy on Wednesday (January 4) in New York City and announced his birth via Twitter.

“Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy,” Maksim tweeted, along with the date and time of their son’s birth.

The couple let the world know that the baby was on the way last night by posting photos from the hospital!

Congrats to the happy couple on the wonderful new baby. We can’t wait to see a photo!
