Twice's Momo & Super Junior's Kim Heechul Are Not Dating, According to Their Agencies

The agencies of K-pop stars Momo, of TWICE, and Kim Heechul, of Super Junior, deny reports that the two are an item.

The 22-year-old member of the South Korean girl group and the 36-year-old South Korean boy group member have recently been the subject of dating rumors.

JYP Entertainment released an official statement on Monday (August 5) reading, “[The dating reports] are false, and the two are just close friends with a senior-junior relationship.”

SJ Label also said, “Super Junior’s Kim Heechul and TWICE’s Momo are close friends with a senior-junior relationship. [The dating reports] are false.” (via Soompi)

There’s a major new K-pop power couple!

Twice‘s Jihyo and Kang Daniel, formerly of Wanna One, are officially dating according to statements from both of the superstars’ agencies on Monday (August 5).

“They are currently meeting with interest in each other,” JYP Entertainment and KONNECT Entertainment confirmed following early reports that the two were an item.

According to the original report from South Korean news outlet Dispatch, the 22-year-old girl group member and the 22-year-old former boy band member were seen on a date in Seoul on August 1, and first started dating at the beginning of 2019.

An idol close to Kang Daniel and Jihyo reportedly introduced the two to each other, and they’ve apparently been meeting frequently ever since.

They’re already an established couple among TWICE as well: one of the members allegedly drove Jihyo to Kang Daniel‘s house and returned to pick her up at one point.

TWICE are bringing their sugary-sweet songs to the United States!

The “TT” South Korean hit-making girl group performed their first-ever U.S. show as part of their Twice World Tour Twicelights 2019 on Wednesday night (July 17) at The Forum in Los Angeles.

The group previously performed in cities across the world like Seoul, Bangkok, Manila and Singapore before taking their show stateside.

They’ll also be trekking to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Ill. Check out all the tour dates at Ticketmaster.com!

The group performed hits like “YES or YES,” “Heart Shaker,” “Like OOH-AHH,” “Signal,” “LIKEY,” and “KNOCK KNOCK.”

TWICE Member Mina Will Not Participate in 'Twicelights' World Tour Due to Health Concerns: 'No Exact Diagnosis Yet'

TWICE member Mina is not going on tour.

The 22-year-old singer and girl group member will be taking a break from activities due to health concerns, the group’s agency JYPE confirmed in a statement on Thursday (July 11).

“Hello, this is JYPE. This is an announcement regarding the status of Mina’s health. Mina is currently struggling with sudden extreme anxiety and insecurity towards performing on stage. No exact diagnosis has been identified yet, and we are consulting with several medical professionals to verify the cause in detail,” they said.

“After extensive discussion with Mina and members of TWICE, we have decided that Mina’s current condition requires additional treatment, professional measures, and sufficient rest. Along with this decision, Mina will not be attending the following schedule: TWICE World Tour 2019 “TWICELIGHTS.” Health of our artist is our top priority, so we will do everything possible to provide the best possible measures including medical treatment and sufficient rest for Mina’s recovery. We ask for the sincere support of fans so that Mina can recover soon. Thank you.” (English translation via Soompi.)

TWICE is set to perform their next TWICELIGHTS tour stop on July 13 in Singapore at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Twice just debuted their new music video for “Wake Me Up”!

The adorable, massively popular South Korean girl group premiered the visual for their forthcoming Japanese single on Tuesday (April 24).

“Wake Me Up” is the group’s third Japanese single following “What Is Love?” released earlier in April, and is scheduled to be released on May 16.
