Jihyo isn’t ready for summer to end!
The 26-year-old leader and vocalist of the powerhouse K-pop girl group Twice shared a set of photos to her Instagram over the weekend, and they’ve got fans buzzing.
“아직 여름🩵,” she captioned the post, in which she takes a selfie in a pool in a blue bikini. (“It’s still summer time.”)
In a second photo, group member Jeongyeon can be seen swimming in the pool as she poses poolside.

Jihyo and Kang Daniel are no longer together.
The 23-year-old TWICE girl group member and the 23-year-old South Korean singer parted ways after over a year of dating, as confirmed by a statement from JYP Entertainment on Tuesday (November 10).
“It is true that they broke up recently,” the agency confirmed in a statement.
According to Korean media outlet Dispatch, the two broke up after being unable to meet often due to their busy schedules. According to their sources, the K-Pop couple decided to focus on their careers instead of making the relationship work.
The two were first confirmed to be a couple back in August of 2019.

On becoming a trainee at eight years old: “Because I started [performing] at a very young age, I felt like this is the only thing I could do.”
On not feeling compelled to fit an unrealistic body image: “I’m happy making money to buy delicious food and eat it with my friends. I don’t think I have to look skinny.”
On how online gaming provides anonymity, if only for a few moments a week: “I’m always tense and cautious about how people see me. But when I’m playing online games, I can feel the truest to myself. Nobody can judge me through [the screen]. That’s why I feel most comfortable.”

There’s a major new K-pop power couple!
Twice‘s Jihyo and Kang Daniel, formerly of Wanna One, are officially dating according to statements from both of the superstars’ agencies on Monday (August 5).
“They are currently meeting with interest in each other,” JYP Entertainment and KONNECT Entertainment confirmed following early reports that the two were an item.
According to the original report from South Korean news outlet Dispatch, the 22-year-old girl group member and the 22-year-old former boy band member were seen on a date in Seoul on August 1, and first started dating at the beginning of 2019.
An idol close to Kang Daniel and Jihyo reportedly introduced the two to each other, and they’ve apparently been meeting frequently ever since.
They’re already an established couple among TWICE as well: one of the members allegedly drove Jihyo to Kang Daniel‘s house and returned to pick her up at one point.
