“Not Azealia Banks sharing a convo with my CREATIVE DIRECTOR Ryder making fun of my armssss. Like I don’t pay his bills?” she captioned the screenshot of Azealia‘s Instagram Story, which featured him calling her “Zara Armsson.”

“What about my arm?? Huh?? I literally see people commenting on my weight every single day, but really? You??” she continued, captioning another shot where he simply wrote “arm.”

“It’s not even about this specific convo specifically about me. It’s just tiring to always see women’s bodies being this…’funny’ topic. Ya my arms are genetically bigger. That’s just what my body type is like and honestly it’s starting to get to me because people are constantly pointing it out like it’s a bad thing even though I literally can’t change it,” she continued, captioning photos of him writing “I think Z should get fatter and stop trying to be hot, just be a fat bitch.”

“Again, this is bigger than just a private convo. Like, can we all just STOP commenting on other people’s bodies? Where’s the fun in that? So…who knows any good creative directors lol” she concluded.

Last year, Zara spoke out about regarding a fellow female artist’s thoughts on femininity.

Zara Larsson Drops New Single 'Love Me Land' - Watch the Video!

Zara Larsson just dropped her new single “Love Me Land” and the music video was released as well!

This marks Zara‘s first release of 2020 and it’s a song co-written with the powerhouse writers Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels.

“I wrote ‘Love Me Land’ with my friends Justin and Julia after a long period of writing for my sophomore international album. It felt like a kind of ‘eureka’ moment in understanding the journey I’ve gone on in discovering what it is to be a woman and an artist,” Zara said in a statement.

She added, “The song is about accidentally falling in love but owning it, and I think that combines two things I love and do well – female empowerment and pop bangers! At the moment, we’re all experiencing this scary unknown world and having to endure some hard realities; I hope this can provide a little escapism for everyone, because sometimes dancing can solve everything, even just for a moment.”

“Love Me Land” will be featured on Zara‘s upcoming second international album. You can download the song now on iTunes and watch the video below on YouTube.

Zara Larsson Addresses Lana Del Rey's Comments About Being a 'More Delicate, Softer Female Personality'

Zara Larsson is speaking out about Lana Del Rey‘s controversial commentary.

The 22-year-old “Ain’t My Fault” singer spoke out in a series of Instagram Story posts directly referencing Lana‘s series of posts about her critics who say she glamorizes abuse while name-checking several female artists. In a later post, Lana defended her “self advocacy for the more delicate and often dismissed, softer female personality.”

PHOTOS: Check out the latest pics of Lana Del Rey

“Serious question for the culture (lol): haven’t ‘delicate’ and ‘soft’ women always been celebrated? It’s literally the ‘ideal’ woman. For decades women have been seen as delicate and soft as well as passive and submissive. And if A woman didn’t fit into that standard she was frowned upon,” she wrote.

“I do agree that sometimes women today, because we had to fight for the right to change the narrative and to authoritarian, lead, and to own our sexuality, have to put on a ‘strong girl’ facade to be seen as a ~true~ Feminist, when the truth is, women (and every other gender) is sometimes strong and sometimes soft. And you should be able to express yourself in whatever light you may wanna be in, ’cause that’s the reality. People are multidimensional. But…fight for the right to be soft? Is it necessary?” she went on to say.

“When I released ‘Ruin My Life’ I was scared I was gonna get comments about how I glamorized abusive relationships (and I did get them). I understand where they’re coming from, but as an artist I wanted to express my feelings that I had in a previous toxic relationship and I should be allowed to do that, even tho I’m a feminist!!!! Feeling like you want to ruin your life is f–ked up, but at one point I wanted that more than being without him. BUT my artistic freedom shouldn’t be the center of a feministic debate, because I think they’re way more important topics, like actual domestic abuse. Ya feel?”
