Nikki Blonsky's Dad Is Released

Nikki Blonsky‘s dad Carl Blonsky has been released from police custody, reports ET.

Last week, Hairspray‘s Nikki Blonsky, 19, and her dad got into a tussle with America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden and her mom. Originally, Carl Blonsky was denied bail and would have had to remain in custody.

Carl, who’s been locked up in a Turks and Caicos islands jail for over a week, was freed after posting $3000 bail awarded to him by the Chief Justice on Monday morning. He was charged with grievous bodily harm, which carries a maximum punishment of five years. Despite posting bail, he must remain on the island and his travel documents are in police custody.

Nikki and Bianca were both charged with assault and were both released on $6,000 bail while Carl is due to appear in court on August 19 at 9:00 a.m.
