OlderMarion & Tabitha Broderick: Sarah Jessica Parker's New Twins!
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have confirmed they welcomed their twin girls via a surrogate on Monday (June 22) at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, OH.
Publicist Simon Halls rep tells ABC: “Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their two daughters at 3:58 p.m. on June 22 in Ohio. Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz., and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 pounds. Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker‘s side. The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon.”
Can’t wait to see the cute babies!

They suck.
Parents are getting way too hung up on cramming every aspect of their pasts/ families into their kids’ names.
I like all 3 of there kids firsts names James, Marion and Tabitha.
Marion is really beautiful, but Tabitha???????? poor girl……..
Did they give birth to babies or my great grandmothers???? I really don’t know. Sounds like they were going for Harry Potter character motif.

Congrats on the birth of the healthy twins. Marion is an old fashion name but I like it and Tabitha, I know two but I like both young ladies. Good solid names. I’m glad they didn’t make them rhyme like Sara and Cara, I don’t like twins’ names like that.

i think the best names for twins (boy and a girl, not two girls!) are Daylen and Marliy… you know, the two best Bob’s’ (the singers) ever…

Congrats to them! hhmmm i was really looking forward to knowing what they had called their daughters – i loved their son James Wilkie’s name.
It seems i’m one of the few who feels sorry for the one they named Marion and delighted that they chose the adorable Tabitha for the other one. But seriously – Hodge and Elwell???? They’re such hideous names for little girls – i agree with whoever it was who said that people are getting way too obsessed with cramming family names onto their kids, however ugly or gender-inappropriate. And why did poor Tabitha get only one middle name and her sister got two? Loretta is hideous but at least its feminine and evens out Elwell a bit. Tabitha is so cute but it does need a lighter middle name to soften it up a bit. Tabitha Hodge is just cruel. But going just by the first names, James, Marion and Tabitha sounds sweet enough as a sibling-set!

Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick Tabitha Hodge Broderick I think the twins names are lovely. Unlike the other celebrity twins recently born. Dolly Charlie Rex Juno Max Bob John Gus Jax Jaid Journey Jesse D*Lila Star Jesse James. I find Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick Tabitha Hodge Broderick better names then Rebecca twins Dolly rebecca rose Charlie Tamara tulip.

@ Peter Parker- The fact that i am typing this should tell you that i am in fact alive – therefore i have a life, however much that probably bothers you. Like the others, I was discussing the twins’ names what with this post being about that and all – but what’s YOUR purpose here? Are you some crazed SJP fan who can’t stand criticism of any part of her life? Or do you just randomly look through all of the boards on Just Jared and write “get a life” for kicks? Seeing how you didnt write anything relevant to the subject of the post, i think it must be because of the latter reason and in that case – re-examine your own life, Spiderman-freak.
Oooooo :s why?! They’re really old fashioned names, Marion is ok, but Tabitha? and Elwell sounds like a name out of Lord of The Rings.
