Kristen Wiig is a 'Clown Girl'

Kristen Wiig is putting up her own cash to turn Clown Girl into a feature film.

The 36-year-old Saturday Night Live actress is hoping to play Nita, a clown who’s down on her luck and contemplates turning to a dark industry to make money, according to Deadline. The story is based on a 2007 novel of the same name written by Monica Drake.
