Alex Pettyfer: Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!

DreamWorks is setting up a new project for Alex Pettyfer!

The 20-year-old British actor will star as the title character in a film adaptation of Tom Rubython‘s book Shunt: The Story of James Hunt.

James Hunt is a British racing driver who took home a win at the Formula One World Championships back in the 1970s and helped cultivate interest in the sport for England.

Alex will be produding the project with John Palermo, who is also working with Taylor Lautner on Incarceron.

Alex will hit the big screen next year in I Am Number Four (with real-life girlfriend Dianna Agron) and Beastly (with Vanessa Hudgens).
