Ben McKenzie: Not Looking Forward to Valentine's Day

Ben McKenzie chats with Ellen DeGeneres while making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Monday (February 14).

The 32-year-old actor was asked about his Valentine’s Day plans, but didn’t seem too excited for the big day!

“I knew you were going to get to this. I’m not married,” Ben said. “This is really going to cheer me up. I’m not married. Recently out of a relationship.”

Ben shared that his mom has given up on him getting married anytime soon.

“She’s given up on me. She’s moved on to my two younger brothers who are both married,” he said. “They’re more likely to give her grandkids at this point which is really the point of the whole exercise. I mean, she cares about me, she’s my mother. But it’s really about grandkids so she just moves on to them.”
