Kate Winslet gives a grin as she lands at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday (September 20) in London, England.

The 35-year-old actress flew in from Los Angeles, where she hit the red carpet in red at the 2011 Emmy Awards. Kate picked up a trophy for her role in Mildred Pierce!

Kate won the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie, where in her acceptance speech, she above all, thanked her mother.

“It doesn’t matter how old you are or what you do in your life. You never stop needing your mom. So thanks, mom! Thanks so much,” Kate said in her speech.
