Scarlett Johansson Addresses Hacked Nude Photos

Scarlett Johansson is speaking out for the first time about nude photos of her that were allegedly hacked and then posted on several websites.

“Just because you’re an actor or make films or whatever doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to your own personal privacy,” the 26-year-old actress said in an interview with CNN (via Reuters).

“If that is sieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong,” she added.

Scarlett also talked about life in the spotlight and how it can be a struggle.

“It’s an adjustment,” she shared. “But I think there are certain instances where you give a lot of yourself and finally you have to kind of put your foot down and say, ‘Oh wait, I’m taking it back.’”

This kind of thing does not happen only with celebrities, so is good take care of what is filed on computers and in memory of mobile phones.

    Look at her !

  • Chace

Or, y’know, don’t take nude photos of yourself. Just look in the mirror and you can pretty much tell how you look naked.

While I love me some ScarJo, I find it pathetic when a celeb nude photo scandal is leaked, and the celebs themselves go out and cry about how their privacy was violated, etc. I’m not saying Scarlett intentionally or blatantly wanted the photos to be released, but honestly, she was asking for it. How many celebrity nude photos scandals have there been? Too many to count – from Blake Lively, as of late, to Vanessa Hudgens. She knew the consequences and risks behind texting/emailing or even saving such photos in her hard drive/camera memory. There’s no excuse for such reasons behind taking them in the first place, and there’s no one to blame but yourself. Again, I love Scarlett – she’s undeniably an amazing actress, but she should wise up, lighten up a little bit and not make it sound that it was someone else’s fault – even though in reality her privacy was indeed violated and infringed upon.

@Jessica Rabbit: You are an idiot.
“Yeah it was wrong to hack your phone and it DID indeed violate your privacy and hacking phones is illegal…but what the hell, you asked for it!”
Do you even hear how that sounds? What she does with her phone is her business, no one has the right to hack her phone and leak her pictures.

  • DONT GET IT

only an idiot would send nude pics of themselves over the phone. And is this the new dating rule? I will show you mine if you show me yours?

ever since her divorce she has been going down hill… i guess if ryan reynolds wanted to divorce me after 2 years of marriage i would be upset also. i used to be a fan but she just seems so weird now (you have to admit she was dating sean penn and all). as for the nude pics i find it very strange they came out a day before her new movies trailer was released.

She is handeling it in a very good way. I dont think people should be taking nude pics in the first place but lets be realistic… when you are working in a different country as your lover you want to do things to keep the romance alive.. It is obvious she didnt do this as a publicity stunt and her career will not be harmed

Where is the limit drawn? So is it okay to hack private emails? Is it okay to hack personal photos of celebritiy kids? Where they asking for it then? That type of argument is so stupid. You people realise that they also tried to hack Mila Kunis’s old email address so it’s not like they were ONLY after risque pictures.

I agree about the complaining about privacy with regard to paparazzi (celebrities should suck it up) but not this, it is an absolute invasion of privacy, Scarlett should have the right to take whatever freaky pictures she wants. At least with paparazzi photos, they are on public property.

  • MarilynandtheDiamonds

Or don’t take nudes photos at all…….

  • UGH

yes it does mean that you stupid btich.

  • meg

If she wants to take nude pictures, so what? Everybody does. TV shows are broadcasted everyday showing breasts and butts and no one complains. Just because she’s famous and her pictures were leaked it doesn’t make her a whore. She was just enjoying her privacy, as normal people do. It’s not like she wanted those pictures to be on the net. If you can’t see that, than you’re an hypocrite.

  • Domino

Leaked my ass. This is all PR. Who keeps pictures of themselves naked in a phone? I mean seriously, this is ridiculous. This was on purpose, nobody cares about her anymore so she needed a boost.

  • DONT GET IT

JEN ANISTON WILL BE NEXT, ON PURPOSE

  • joyce

@DONT GET IT: Just wow. What’s wrong with the people in this website? You’re on the wrong thread, jackass!

  • Facts

If it’s ok to hack her phone and publish her private photos to the world, then it should be ok to hack all of YOUR phones and publish all of YOUR private photos to the world. None of you’s are celebrities, so there’s no damage to be done and no one will care. So are you guys up to it? That’s what I thought, idiots.

  • anthony

While you shouldn’t have to worry about your private accounts being hacked into, it unfortunately does happen. There is only one way to avoid something like this and it’s to not have nude pictures on your phone to begin with. She is responding to it all in a smart way now but it would have been smarter to have just not had naked pictures on her phone. Seeing how much this is happening you would think people would catch on and just stop doing it.

  • bri

shut up, youre the idiot who took the photos of your self. every normal human knows better NOT to do something like that because we learn from idiots like you who do this shit everyday and deny it when they get “leaked”. stop looking for sympathy because youre “famous” and think you have it harder then everyone else cuz people get your nude photos that you should of never taken. vain bitch.

  • Riri

Can someone please verify to me the difference between an actor or actress getting naked in a movie (Butt, boobs, whole thing) or being in an intimate scene and people seeing revealing pictures of them online?

Is it because you are not on camera that you feel violated? These people make millions playing characters their whole life and then they take ridiculous photos and start going off on a rant the minute someone sees them “naked”….. Give me a break, get over it, there are REAL problems in the world like war, famine and tragedy. Solution= STOP TAKING NAKED PICTURES OF YOURSELF! Simple yet effective don’t you think ?

  • Ryan Rivercrest

Why don’t they ask her why she took those nude photos in the first place?

  • Jennifer

Haven’t any of your guys ever been in a long-distance relationship or been apart from your partner for some time? I’m not saying EVERYBODY does it, but emailing your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife a nude photo of yourself is not THAT unusual. Yes, it can backfire if your ex turns out to be a jerk, but that’s an entirely different story. Just because someone takes a nude picture of him/herself, that DOESN’T automatically give anyone the right to HACK people’s phones, emails or whatever.

  • http://A.com Ka simply amazing

Yes i see she more change and want to be bad girl but ok cuz to be fomus hehehehee

  • SnOOKIE

please, we all know they release the pictures on purpose.
hackers don’t do that shit. if they did there would be be nude pictures of everyone on the internet. not just scarlett, blake or vanessa..

  • Ella

    publicity stunts never grow old…
