Katherine Heigl: Adopt Your Pet!

Katherine Heigl arrives in style to an animal shelter with her momager Nancy on Friday (November 4) in Los Angeles.

“Hey guys super proud and excited to announce the fall 5000 program that @laanimalalliance and @JasonHeiglFound began today!” the 32-year-old actress tweeted.

“Hoping to get at least 5000 animals adopted this month from LA city and county shelters! Great programs like pets to patriots will hopefully encourage people to go to their local shelters and adopt! Want more info go to LAAnimalAlliance.org!,” Katherine explained further about the wonderful cause. She even helped institute the program to adopt pets to veterans for no cost.

Katherine also recently adopted two pups of her own!
