Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift hit the red carpet at the 2011 BMI Country Awards on Tuesday (November 8) in Nashville, Tenn.
Both country stars were recognized at the event which honored songwriters – Carrie for “Mama’s Song,” “Temporary Home,” and “Undo It” and Taylor for her tracks “Back to December,” “Fearless,” and “Mine”!
FYI: Carrie is wearing a Roberto de Villacis dress, shoes and a bag both by Jimmy Choo, and Johnathon Arndt jewels.
Taylor paired her Emilio Pucci dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Nicholas Kirkwood heels, and a Daniel Swarovski clutch.

Carrie, Taylor… Don’t be silly and remember what people tell you
Finally some real country stars.
Finally some real country stars.
Carrie looks amazing !!! she is beautiful! congrats for her 3 songs Temporary Home and Undo It number 1 , and Mamas song number 2! Cant wait for her new single !!! and her new album !!!
Carrie is really gorgeous but she would look so much better if she were fuller-figured.
It’s kind of sad that these are what are getting song writing awards. I guess anything that’s a hit will get a songwriting award these days.
Nice to see some coverage of country music artists that attended the BMI awards instead of Hollywood.
LOVE LOVE LOVE carrie underwood!! she looks so pretty!
I was impressed with Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley as hosts last year–they had REAL chemistry..which cannot be faked and is hard to come by.
Both are really talented and likable.
Aww Taylor…she looks so beautiful and grown-up. I feel bad for Carrie Underwood…she hosts the CMAs every year yet they keep snubbing her, not nominating her for the big award (Entertainer of the Year).
@sillyme: My comment is for all the hit song writers that are never known like the singers singing there songs. How fair is that when the songs is what makes the singers famous what would they sing if not for the song writers. Any true talented song writing singer must realize how that both talents should be made famous.
