OlderAlexander Skarsgard: 'Avengers' Premiere with Dad Stellan!
Alexander Skarsgard shows up to support his dad Stellan at the premiere of the flick The Avengers on Wednesday (April 11) at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
The 35-year-old Battleship actor’s dad stars in the superhero flick as Professor Erik Selvig, a character that he previously played in Thor.

Anyway. How cute are they!? Son joined father on the red carpet. I think it’s pretty obvious that they care a lot about each other (rare in Hwood). I think they are doing a nice job of keeping a separate personal and professional life. When opportunities correspond, take advantage.

It’s nice that Alex and Stellan are so close, and supportive of each other’s work. The Skarsgard family all seems to be close knit like that, which is refreshing. Too often you hear of siblings fighting, and parents dragging each other through the mud after a divorce, but Alex’s family never seems to do that sort of thing. They book look fantastic! I love Stellan’s work too. He was a great Martin Vanger in Dragon Tattoo.
