Jessica Simpson's Parents File For Divorce

Jessica Simpson‘s parents Tina and Joe have filed for divorce, a rep for the family confirms to JustJared.com.

“Joe and Tina Simpson have filed for divorce. It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time,” the statement said.

Reportedly, Tina filed the papers on September 24 in McLennan County, Tex, according to ET.

The two were married for 34 years prior to the divorce filing.
