Christina Aguilera: Hurricane Sandy Telethon's 'Beautiful' Songtress

Christina Aguilera rocks a bright blazer during an emotional performance of her hit song “Beautiful” at the Hurricane Sandy Telethon on Friday (November 2) in New York City.

“I was born in Staten Island. … We are here for you. We will do whatever we can to help. We will not leave any one of you behind, because every single one of you matters,” the 31-year-old entertainer shared before she sang.

The telethon also included performances by Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Mary J Blige and Jon Bon Jovi.

Later in the day, Christina made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
