Anne Hathaway: Oscars Hosting Gig Looked 'Slightly Manic'

Anne Hathaway takes her dog Esmeralda for a walk with a pal on Sunday afternoon (November 18) in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The 30-year-old actress recently chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about her co-hosting gig at the 2011 Academy Awards.

“I was just shooting energy to the back [of the house]. It was like a big party. It was great,” Anne said. “I think it looked slightly manic and hyper cheerleadery on screen… Whether or not it was an actual failure, it was perceived as a massive failure.”
