Celebrities React to Boston Marathon Explosions

Two explosions went off at the Boston Marathon leaving at least six people injured on Monday afternoon (April 15) in Boston, Mass.

It is not yet known what the cause of the explosions were, but it is known that they went off within seconds of each other at around 2:45pm and left Boston’s Copley Square in smoke, which reached up to 50 feet high.

The marathon, in which thousands of people are participating in, was about half over and there were still people running into the finish line when the explosions went off. According to reports, some of the runners were so bloody that they had to be taken to medical tents already set up for the marathon.

“Sending prayers to everyone who was/is at the #bostonmarathon,” Lindsay Lohan tweeted after she heard the shocking news.
