Benedict Cumberbatch Felt Huge Responsibility Playing Stephen Hawking

Benedict Cumberbatch is super suave while filming for the third season of Sherlock on Wednesday (August 21) in London, England.

The 37-year-old actor was joined on the set by his co-star Martin Freeman for the day of shooting.

Benedict recently talked about playing genius Stephen Hawking in an upcoming documentary.

“I felt a huge onus of responsibility to get that part of his life right,” Benedict told The Telegraph. “It’s a terrifying prospect to have a completely functioning mind inside a body that locks you in, that keeps you stationary. One of the things I wanted to get right was to show the progression of his condition and show where the instability and fear came from.”
