Game of Thrones' Lena Headey Chopped Off Her Hair - How Does She Feel!?

Lena Headey shows off her new shorter hairdo at the premiere screening of BBC America’s Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan held at the Los Angeles Zoo on Saturday (March 22) in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old Game of Thrones star was joined at the event by Modern Family‘s Nolan Gould, Survivor‘s Jeff Probst, and funnyman Rob Corddry.

Lena just recently chopped off her long hair – “I just felt instinctively about it,” Lena told People. “I love it.”

“I don’t get as much attention, but people do still recognize me,” Lena added. “There was a lady going through my bag at the airport and she kind of looked up and said ‘I know who you are.’ It was an awkward moment.”

Many Game of Thrones fans are accustomed to seeing Lena in her long wig.
