Mark Zuckerberg's Wife Priscilla Chan Gives First TV Interview, Announces Big Donation to Bay Area Schools

Priscilla Chan, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg‘s wife, gave her first ever television interview this morning (May 30) to announce that she and her husband are donating $120 million to help improve Bay Area public schools.

“We live in Palo Alto, which has, fortunately, one of the greatest school districts in the country,” Priscilla told Today show’s Savannah Guthrie. “But right next door, actually within walking distance of our home, is East Palo Alto that has a K-8 system that has a lot of unmet needs that the public school district is struggling to make up the difference for at this time.”

Priscilla also chatted about her husband Mark‘s favorite article of clothing, his hoodie, as well as their dog Beast, and more.

“I’m happy with whatever he wants to wear, as long as it’s appropriate for where we’re going. So he can’t wear it to weddings. And he can’t wear it to baby showers. But he can do whatever else he wants,” Priscilla said of Mark‘s style.
