Elle Fanning Attached to Star in 'How to Talk to Girls at Parties'

Elle Fanning flashes a smile while walking to do some retail therapy and grab a bite to eat on Wednesday afternoon (July 9) in Studio City, Calif.

The 16-year-old actress was joined for the outing by her mom.

According to THR, Elle is attached to star in How to Talk to Girls at Parties, an adaptation of Neil Gaiman‘s short story.

Published in 2006, it follows two teen boys who go to a party in 1970s London. While one has no trouble scoring a girl right off the bat, the shy one is left to fend for himself and has to find a way to make conversation.

He soon finds out that the girls at the party are more than they seem.
