'Guardians of the Galaxy' Reclaims No. 1 Spot at Weekend Box Office, 'TMNT' Narrowly Beats Out 'If I Stay'
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is back at the top of the weekend box office with a $17.6 million gross in its fourth week!
According to THR, the action flick starring Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana, brought its domestic total to a whopping $251.9 million.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, starring Megan Fox and Will Arnett, came in second its third weekend, with an additional $16.8 million for a domestic total of $145.6 million.
Taking the third spot was the new Chloe Moretz film If I Stay, which opened right behind with $16.4 million.
Rounding out the top five were the buddy comedy Let’s Be Cops and the football drama When the Game Stands Tall, which earned $11 million and $9 million, respectively.
Unfortunately, the star-studded action sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For fell below expectations, making only $6.5 million and coming in eighth place.
