Jamie Dornan‘s career is totally hot – he just landed a new role in the upcoming Miramax thriller The 9th Life of Louis Drax.

The 32-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey actor will play Dr. Allan Pascal, who is drawn into a thrilling mystery after 9-year-old Louis Drax suffers a near-fatal fall, The Wrap reports. This film is also exciting because it marks Max Minghella‘s screenwriting debut.

“Tim [Bricknell] and I are thrilled this deeply personal project is being brought to fruition with passion and integrity,” Max said in a statement. “We look forward to collaborating with Alex and Miramax to create a truly original movie that will captivate and surprise audiences.”
